Applications :
S165M 15 a martensitic / ferritic stainless steel with excellent mechanical properties and ductility . General areas of application are propellers , shafts , spindels , bolts etc.
Heat treatment :
Normalized at 1000 °C and cooled in air followed by tempering at 560 ?580 °C and air cooling . The tempering temperature may be adjusted within this temperature range to obtain the desired mechanical properties.
